Can we talk about these?
They are even more decadent and delicious than they look. Really.
A little while ago, I developed a cookie recipe for Joy of Kosher using Goldenberg's Peanut Chews. Oh my, these little candies are addicting. They package them perfectly small, so before you even realize you've devoured four or five (probably more).
These Peanut Chews are definitely a worthwhile indulgence. They have a rich dark chocolate coating, crunchy peanuts, and a deep chewy caramel-like center. They're made with molasses, rather than plain white sugar, which gives them an extra depth of flavor. They are complete on their own but can take a simple chocolate chip cookie to another level.
Throw in a few pieces of salty pretzels for contrast in flavor, some oatmeal for a nice texture, and you get a well-composed cookie.
These are cookies with character. Try them.
